Mac and Windows · the same app, the same licence key

What happens when you open it

1. On a Mac, the installer puts Adam Studio in your Applications folder and installs the VST3 and AU plug-ins, so Adam Studio turns up in Logic, Ableton and the rest after they next scan for new plug-ins.
2. On Windows, the installer puts Adam Studio in Program Files and on the Start menu. The plug-in follows in a later update. Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen the first time, because the installer is new and not yet signed with a certificate Windows knows: click More info, then Run anyway.
3. Open it and play. No key needed to try it. The demo runs for ten minutes at a time with nothing held back, and you can reopen it as often as you like.

When you have a licence key

Paste it into the panel the app shows you, and press ACTIVATE. That needs an internet connection: your licence covers one computer at a time, Mac or Windows, and only a server can know which one currently holds it. After that Adam Studio checks in quietly by itself whenever you are online, and plays for four days at a stretch with no connection at all, on stage, on a plane, in a studio with the network unplugged.

Moving to a different computer is yours to do and costs nothing: deactivate inside the app under Settings › About, or from your account page, then paste the same key on the new machine. A Mac and a PC swap the same way.

It is on your account page. Sign in with the email address you bought with and it is there, along with this download. If anything at all goes wrong, write to guy@adam-studio-ai.com and a person will answer.
