ADAM STUDIO

Licence Agreement

Last updated 25 August 2026

The short version. You buy a licence to use Adam Studio on your own Macs, for as long as you like. The music you make with it is entirely yours, with no strings and no royalties. Do not share your licence key — though if you stop using Adam Studio, you may pass the whole licence on to someone else.

1. What you are buying

A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to install and use Adam Studio for your own work, personal or commercial. One licence covers two Macs that you own or control — a studio machine and a laptop, for instance. It is a licence to use the software, not a sale of the software itself; Guy Hashpia keeps ownership of the app and its source.

2. Your music is yours

Anything you make with Adam Studio belongs to you completely. We claim no rights over it, ask for no credit, and take no royalties. Release it, sell it, licence it to a film — none of that involves us. This applies equally to audio you bounce out of the app and to parts the AI features helped arrange.

Your samples remain subject to whatever terms you got them under. Adam Studio plays the files you already have; it does not grant you rights to them. You are responsible for having the right to use the sounds you load and to release what you make from them — if using someone else’s sounds brings a claim, that claim is yours to answer, not ours.

3. Your licence key

Your key carries your name and email address, and the app displays them. Treat it like a password: do not post it publicly or pass it to anyone else. A key found in circulation may be cancelled, which stops it working in future versions of the app. If you believe your key has been taken, tell us and we will replace it.

The licence itself is yours to pass on. If you stop using Adam Studio, you may sell or give your licence to someone else — once, and whole: write to us, we cancel your key and issue one in the new owner’s name, your copies come off your machines, and from that day the licence is theirs. What is never permitted is sharing — one key serving two people, a key posted publicly, renting or sub-licensing the app, or keeping a copy after passing the licence on. Nor is reverse-engineering the app, except where the law says you may do so regardless of this agreement.

4. Moving to another Mac

Reinstall as often as you like, and copy your licence file to a new machine when you replace one. The app checks your licence on your own machine and does not need to reach us, so reinstalling works offline and will keep working whatever happens to this website.

5. Updates

Updates within the version you bought are included. If a future major version is offered as a paid upgrade, that will be stated plainly before you pay for it, and your existing version will keep running. We may change what the app does over time; we will not switch off software you have already bought.

6. Running without a key

Adam Studio is downloaded by licence holders, so normally it meets your key on the first launch. If it is ever run without one — a fresh install before you have pasted the key in, or a machine where you have not entered it yet — it runs for fifteen minutes per launch and then asks you to activate. Nothing is held back in that time and you can always save your project. This is not a free demo and it is not offered as one; deliberately working around the limit rather than activating is not permitted.

7. Refunds

There is no public demo — the download is for licence holders — so the refund is the guarantee instead. If it does not do what you expected, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you and cancel the licence.

8. No warranty

Adam Studio is provided "as is". We have tested it and we stand behind it, but we cannot promise it is free of faults or that it will suit every setup, and it comes with no warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the licence, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost bookings or lost data. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.

Back up your work. Any software can lose data, and this one records and plays audio in real time on hardware we have never seen.

9. Third-party software

Adam Studio includes software from other authors, under their own licences. Every notice they require is reproduced in the app: open Settings ▸ ABOUT.

10. Ending the licence

If this agreement is broken — most realistically by a key being shared — the licence may be ended, and the key cancelled. You may stop using the app at any time.

11. Law and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of Israel. Adam Studio is made by Guy Hashpia; write to guy@adam-studio-ai.com.
