ADAM STUDIO Buy at launch price

Everything in the box.

Eight players a screen, a DJ channel on every strip, and a mastering chain across the lot.

Mix like a DJ. Play like a producer.

Live looping, a piano roll, a slicer, recording. A performance instrument, not a render button.

The Adam Studio window: eight instrument strips in two mirrored columns each showing a coloured waveform, a master bar across the top with the prompt field and CREATE button, an open piano roll holding a written melody, and a seven-device master effects chain along the bottom.

Master BPM & key

Plus the scale it all sits in.

8 players per screen

Three screens of them. 24 players live.

Master bus effects

Professional sound off the master out.

Explore new ideas faster than ever.

Say what every player should do before you press CREATE, and keep what you already like.

The create settings panel over the app: a row per player numbered 1 to 8 in its own colour, each with an ON switch, an instrument field reading AUTO, and AI, MIDI and RND buttons with AI lit. Along the top, ALL ON and ALL OFF, a column that sets every player at once, and AI PICKS BPM and AI PICKS KEY. Along the bottom, a SAMPLES and ADAM pair and a RENDER 8 button.

Every player

On, off, or held to one instrument.

Switch a player out of the build and it keeps what it is playing. Lock one to an instrument, or leave it on AUTO and let the agent choose.

AI · MIDI · RND

Three ways to change your mind.

AI casts the player again. MIDI keeps the sample and writes a new part. RND rolls a fresh sound out of that player’s own crate, with no model call.

Keep BPM · Keep key

Your track stays your track.

Both are on by default, so a new idea arrives at the tempo and in the key you are already playing. Type a tempo in the prompt and that still wins.

Render

Bounce the lot, then drag it out.

RENDER bounces every player that is on, to 24-bit WAV, and GRAB drags those files straight into your DAW.

One channel, everything on it.

One strip is a player and a DJ channel: EQ, filter, delay, reverb, distortion and sidechain, every one of them moving while the track is playing.

One player strip: the instrument name KICK with its file name, a violet kick-loop waveform across the middle, a row of Loop / 1-Shot / Slice mode buttons and a piano-roll toggle beneath it, and on the right the channel rail with stacked HIGH, MID, LOW, FILTER, DLY, REV, DRV and SC sliders beside a vertical volume fader, with SC lit in the sidechain’s colour.

The player

Loop it, hit it once, or play it.

A loop conforms to the master tempo and runs itself. 1-Shot fires the sample once, on the beat. Slice turns it into a bank of playable triggers.

TS or PITCH

The piano roll plays it two ways.

TS holds tempo and key apart, so the part moves and the track does not change speed. PITCH is the turntable: faster is higher, the way a sampler always did it.

EQ + Filter

HIGH, MID, LOW, and one filter the club way.

Low-pass left, high-pass right, never both, the way a DJ mixer does it.

Delay + Reverb

Two sends, on every channel.

Throw the snare into the reverb for a bar. Send the chords to the delay and pull the dry back.

Distortion

Drive, and it sits after the EQ.

Shape the band first, then drive what you shaped, so cutting the lows means driving less mud and not more of it.

The one that matters

The sidechain already knows your kick.

Adam finds the kick and wires the ducking to it automatically. Eight strips pump as one record, and you can key it by hand, live.

Hear it mastered, live.

The chain a mastering engineer would reach for, already patched. The track the AI builds arrives sounding like a record.

The master effects bar: seven devices left to right, sidechain then filter, delay, reverb, clipper, compressor and limiter, their knobs coloured on a ramp that warms from iris to rose across the chain.

Sidechain

The mix breathes with the kick.

Keyed by the kick and nothing else, with a per-strip amount.

Delay

Repeats that stay on the grid.

1/32 to two bars, straight, dotted, triplet or free, with ping-pong.

Reverb

A real tank, not a preset.

Size, decay and damping instead of ROOM / HALL / PLATE.

Clipper

Where the loudness comes from.

Takes the tops off the peaks at four times the sample rate, so no fizz on your hats.

Compressor

Glue, with a mix knob.

Pull the mix back and it runs parallel: density underneath, transients on top.

Limiter

The ceiling is a guarantee.

Two milliseconds of look-ahead, so nothing overshoots. On by default.

Sync in with your hardware.

Sing into it, play into it, lock it to the gear you already own. Your voice and your guitar are human sounds too.

Vocal

Sing a hook over the loop. It lands on the bar, as a player you can mix.

Guitar

Play a part in over eight players the agent just cast for you.

Hardware

Your drum machine, your synth, your groovebox, all running to the same clock.

Audio in

Record straight into a player.

Arm a strip, take the count-in, play. The take comes back as a loop that is already playing, latency measured and compensated.

MIDI in and out

Lock to the room, or run it.

Send clock and your gear follows the track; follow clock and the track follows your gear, tempo and the downbeat.
